I used this styler following the use of the conditioner from the same line, which I was also not satisfied with. I used a good leave in conditioner, as I always do under gels, and then plopped for a bit with my microfiber towel. I applied the gel and it really did nothing for me.
For my type of hair, I generally need a heavy gel. This was very light and not really like a gel at all, but more like a liquid, though not super runny. My hair also felt very dry after I put it on. I could not fingercomb it through my hair because my fingers just seemed to get caught in this stuff.
The one good thing about it was that it did leave my hair very shiny…maybe a result of the shimmery coloring?
Will I buy this again? Nope! In fact, I’m returning it.
