Do you use it like the bottle says, on Dry Hair? I've never heard of deep conditioning your hair when the hair is dry before. Any tips on how to use this conditioner?

I am not new to being a natural, but I am new to healthy & proper care for my hair. I just learned the basics like not using hair grease, never combing hair dry, only using a wide tooth comb etc etc about two months ago. I also have been hiding my hair under braids & stocking cap quick weaves for my entire adult like so far (i am 25) Since learning more about my hair I have gone all natural with the products- no silicones and everything. This is the first time in my life that a conditioner or a deep conditioner has made my hair soft or conditioned at all. I was amazed my hair has seriously never felt like this. I will use this conditioner forever. it also smells so good. i give this conditioner ten stars!

Hi! Thanks for the comment :)

Congrats on wearing your own hair, doesn't it feel great? I've not yet tried RR, but will probably try to get ahold of a sample one of these days.

In the picture of the twist out I used shea butter and aloe vera gel. This is what I usually use on twists.

I love your blog! I'm two months into wearing my "own" hair. I'm also a product junkie, having collected Miss Jessie's, Curls, Mixed Chicks and other products for over a year. I may try this conditioner from Whole Foods. I love love love Miss Jessie's Rapid Recovery, and have been trying others to see if any compare. I like Carol's Daughter Smoothies, but not enough to give up RR. But I'm willing to hunt for a replacement.
I really like the twistout you're wearing with the scarf. What product did you use, and were they small or medium twists?
