New to my hair accessory collection

My newest Tomoka’s Twists arrived Friday. This is the first pair where I’ve gotten the earrings to match. I got compliments all day at work.

1 Jada February 19, 2009 at 11:49 pm: Those Tomoka Twists are sooo cute! Do you tie your hair with a band first and then use the twists or do you only use the twists?
2 kcurly February 21, 2009 at 7:54 am: Jada, you only have to use the twists. It’s kind of like a malleable wire that goes around your head and it has the beads at the ends. It’s kind of stiff.

4 Susan April 21, 2010 at 2:52 am: I agree that those tomoka’s twists are a good idea..but let’s keep it real. She buys an electrical wire from home depot for pennies. Its the one with the single copper wire inside. My brother is an electrician and he showed me how she strips the ends and adds different jewelry on the ends. Even with the addition of the pieces on the end it still costs her less than a dollar to make each one. yet she charges upwards of $30 for some of those things. Wow..Talk about a profit… Since my brother showed me, I make my own for my hair now for far less than she charges.
