Review:

With a unique spicy scent, a little of this is all that’s needed for  moisturized hair. I’ve used it before twisting along with a good butter or cream and then apply it to refresh my twists when they are feeling dry. I’ve also spritzed it on a few day old puff or wash n go. It leaves my dry scalp feeling cool and moisturized.

Too much of this will leave the hair momentarily oily, but it seems to soak in pretty well. If  any male naturals are reading, this would be an ideal product not only because of it’s great properties, but also  because the smell is not flowerly or “girly” as a lot of hair products are.

The price is nice as well, the ingredients are awesome (watch the rosemary pregnant ladies) and an 8 oz bottle lasts for awhile.

Will I buy this again? Yes

this is timely, I was looking for a refresher spray for my curls. Also, I was thinking about getting some pudding from hairveda (i think you reviewed that one, I have to look back at the comments) because I have never tried it.
I really enjoy your blog; you have great tips and reviews. Thank you!

BTW, what was the shipping rate for the oyin website? I saw 11.50, but I wanted to make sure because that is a little high.

T, I definitly did not pay 11 bucks. I just looked up my invoice and I paid 8 dollar, but I also ordered the whipped pudding. I just plugged in the same products on curlmart and got around 5 dollars for shipping. Maybe you could try that instead? Hope that helps.

Hi Kcurly!!

I found a new product that is wonderful. Both you and I use alot of the same products, so I wanted to hip you to this one….it’s Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Wrap/set Mousse…check out this link.

http://www.sallybeauty.com/Olive%20Oil%20Wrap/Set%20Mousse/SBS-311107%2Cdefault%2Cpd.html

It takes my hair about 14 hours to dry and just in-case my hair wants wants water during the week and my hair can be a bit thirsty ….I live in Florida… and I don’t have 14 hours for it to dry via washing. I will spray my hair with some water…which it loves..but I can be a bit heavy handed..that’s what happens when you are a 4b… I use this mousse instead since it moisturizes and also just incase I want to do a dry twist set but need holder it’s great while mosturizing my hair with the healing power of Olive oil.

Let me know if you try it and see how it works for you.
