Review:
Whipped Gelly is a good gel if you’re looking for a light hold. If you’re looking for something with the hold of KCCC, then this may not be for you. In the tradition of most Hairveda products, you can’t beat the ingredients. It doesn’t take much to get the desired effect and it has never given me a crunchy hold. I use it when I don’t mind a bit of frizz and am not trying to decrease volume.
My hair feels moisturized with this gel, even after repeated use. It does take a long time to dry in my dense hair, but most products do so *shrug*. I’ve used this under a few different leave ins and it works well with most.
I don’t really care for it for slicking down edges. I have stubborn edges, however. With a scarf, it was able to smooth down a good deal of my hair.
Will I buy this again? I’m kind of on the fence about this one. I have a big container of it, so I think I’ll just kind of decide.

Thanks to your review, I just purchased a sample of this along with a full jar of Almond Glaze. 7 months post, and my hairline is fuzzy and growing “up”. I need to slick it down before I BC out of frustration.
Thanks ma’am!
Kcurly, I’m with you about being on the fence with this product. I love the moisturization I get with it and thinking about just using it as a leave in. It semi-works for me as a gel but I have to use a ton of it and really manipulate my hair with it in which I don’t like to do and for the most part it still ends up being a soft hold.
I have never heard of this product. I hated Kinky Curly for my hair but love it for my son and daughter. Have you ever tried making flaxseed gel? Very inexpensive and it holds and defines waves and curls!
