Review:

Fantastic leave in that I found early on in my natural days and continue to use. It has wonderful ingredients and the slip is pretty good.  What’s great about this product that all different types of hair types seem to rave about it. It’s moisturizing and easy to apply.

What I really like about it is that it actually provides a bit of curl definition if I use enough. However, I have experienced some small amount of crunchiness with this product when trying to use it for curl definition. It’s not on the same level as a gel, though and I would never recommend buying it just for curl definition.

As with a lot of Giovanni products, I find that I hate the container and find it hard to get out the last bit. It also does not like to be mixed with a lot of other products such as many gels. If I recall you get the “little white ball syndrome” when mixing it with KCCC. The residue goes away as it dries, but it’s still annoying.

Will I buy this again? Yes,it’s in my rotation

hey!! my name is katelen and im in the transtioning stage right now. im about 3 months in and ive been reading up on everytihng i need for my hair. i have to admit it disheartens me that i have to go on google to learn about my own hair rather than learn form my own mother, who is a fan of relaxers. there are days when i went ot turn back but i know i’ll be over the moon with the end result and thati m doing the healthier thing for my hair, so for now im keepin my head up going one day at a time!

Hi Kitathena! Thanks a million for posting a review for this product! I’m currently spending 12 bucks on Knot Today and it works great but sometimes the shipping amounts bother me. In any case, just wanted you to know that I think I may give this a try soon. Thanks again!

I LOVE this product. It does not leave a heave feel to the hair and moisturizes.

Hi my name is Paula
and I was wondering, how would you compare the giovanni direct leave in to the Karen’s body beautiful hair milk? Do you think they are about the same in terms of moisturizing properties? I was just wondering because I bought the KBB hair milk and I like it, but I noticed that the giovanni direct leave in is about half the cost.

Paula, I think that KBB is more moisturizing hands down.

Thanks Kcurly,
I’ll probably still with what works then (KBB) I love the hair milk, and hair butter.

phenoxyethanol, which causes damaging effects on the brain and the nervous system, even at moderate concentrations. As a cosmetic ingredient, phenoxyethanol is restricted in Japan and the European Union. Even the U.S. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) data sheets show “chromosomal changes and genetic mutation effects in testing as well as testicular atrophy and reproductive damage in mice.”Qhemet Biologic Amla Olive Heavy Cream and Giovanni leave in WOW!!
