Review:

VO 5 are another line of cheapie conditioners often used for daily cowashing. I’m a Suave girl myself, but gave this one a shot too around the same time I first started using Suave. I just really didn’t like it. The smell was the only thing that I can comment on positively.

It was not very moisturizing, the slip was barely there, and it just left my hair feeling “bleh”. But, it is super cheap, and sometimes you can find it for 77 cents at CVS, so definitly worth a shot.

Will I buy this again? Nope!

My hair didn’t care for this as a cowash conditioner either. :(

My hair loves it as a pre-poo, it was so much easier to comb thru after washing.

Aww.Strawberries and Cream works really well for me and makes my hair so soft! But then again, I just BC’d and don’t have much to detangle(about 1 inch of hair).

The V05 does not a thing for my hair. I was hoping my hair would like it because it is so cheap and so easy to find but no. I’ll stick to my Suave Tropical Coconut.

Intresting…
My hair loves VO5. I rate this by how the slip feels and how my hair feels as I am combing it. When I did my BC my hair loved it and now that I am 1 year natural my hair still loves it I’m curious to see if this will change when the length of my hair increases. As for Suave I don’t like it at all ( I love the smell). The slip feels ehhh…eww and my hair doesn’t instanly feel detangled plus it feels dry.
I wonder if this has anything to do with the soy protein in Vo5 … Giavonni also has it and I LOVE IT. Suave has silk amino acids. But I don’t know
Will I buy it OF COURSE!!!! I have 3 containers right now… can’t live without it.

VO5 moisture milks works for my hair. I tried Suave tropical coconut first, but it left my hair very dry and brittle. The VO5 did the complete opposite, great slip and it worked well with the other products that I used when styling.
