Review:

After my pleasing encounter with the Nourish and Shine from this line, I was excited to try this styler. It’s a liquid, which usually spells bad news for me, but I had faith that it might be ok anyway.

Unfortunately, I was wrong :(

Here’s the description from the Jane Carter site:

Condition & Sculpt is a liquid sculpting lotion that is ideal for taming unruly curls. Perfect for wash and wear curly hair and curly weaves. Use a little for light hold and a lot for maximum hold. Condition & Sculpt smoothes the hair’s cuticle, providing phenomenal shine. It is a terrific product for all hair textures, and is great for those “ponytail” days!

I tried this twice. Once I just used it by itself. It took a lot of the product to get it all through my hair and I kind of had to just pour it on. Then I just fingercombed it through as I usually do with my stylers. I did not use a leave in under it. I ended up with my usual ‘fro and very little curl definition (though it felt moisturized) . The second time I used this under the Nourish and Shine and pretty much ended up with the same results (except it was exceptionally moisturized).

I think this may be more suited for someone with a very loose hair texture, or at least looser than mine. The smell is pleasant and the price is not that bad, but it just didn’t do it for me for a wash n go. I may try this in the future on twists or braid outs and I will update this post if I do.

Will I buy this in the future? Nope.

I’m suspicious of all things liquid too. My hair is MUCH too strong for wimpy water based stylers!

I got this at a Swap (LHCF), used it once and never touched it again. I can sum up my hair results in two words: HOT MESS

I have used the product and nothing special to report. My hair is too thick for it.

Did not work for me. Looks like her products don’t work well for my hair type.
