Review:
Am I ever going to run into a KBB product that I don’t like? Doesn’t look like it anytime soon.
This butter absolutely melted into my hair once applied and left it incredibly moisturized. I used it on my edges which can get dry sometimes, especially when in a bun, and this was the cure!
I also used it on twists and they came out very nice. I do warn that not much is needed to get the desired effects. I went a little overboard at some point and ended up with some greasiness, but I tend to be heavyhanded at the best of times.
The KBB website says this works best on dry hair. I do prefer it on dry hair, though it wasn’t bad on wet hair, just a bit much. It’s got all the good butters in it, especially shea butter, my fav. And aloe butter? Never seen that before. I will have to do some checking
Anyway, KBB once again has earned my love for this product.

I got some of this in a hair swap and I love it. And I have only use it on wet (well, damp) hair so that’s saying something. I’ll have to make sure to use this on dry hair soon to see how it compares.
And I’m totally in the same “is there anything I won’t like from KBB?” boat as you. The only thing that would be better is if I actually got to go shopping in the store. I need to make a trip up to NYC just to do this.
Hmm. That’s a lot of butter! I’ve used oils forever. Recently I started using 100% natural coconut oil, which is so not oily–I LOVE it. I’ll definitely look into the butters though when I wear twists.
I really want to try her hair milk – I believe she has a sale on right now…
i love kbb hair butter. I’ve tried a lot of butters and like you said, what’s great about this butter is that it literally melts in my hair. I don’t have to rub my hands vigorously together like i had to with some other butters, this is a keeper for me.
