DSC04381I think that last picture says it all.

Look how rich and creamy this stuff is. I first heard about this over at Texture Playground. She is always doing great things with butters and such. If you haven’t checked her out, what are you waiting for? :)

The smell is very light, and doenst really smell like an avocado, but it definitly does not have any fragrance added. It’s super moisturizing and thick. If I put this on my ends at night before bed, I am gauranteed softness in the morning.  I love spreading it over both my hair and skin. You can order this, along with other butters and ingredients from Texas Naturals (in face Texture Playground has a deal with them for a discount).

My favorite butter!!!!! So glad you ordered it! I know that you will enjoy all the benefits of avocado butter. I am running very low, but at least my container (same size as yours) lasted me 4 months. Not bad for something I use every day on skin, lips, and hair.

I’ve been meaning to do an order from TNS and avocado butter is one of the things I want to get. I’ve read way too many good things about it to just not try it out.

I’m really glad you liked it, i’m a fan of butters myself and I get so happy when other find they like them too. Plus you can make your own mixes inexpensively.

I’m a newbie transitioner and I’m still learning about what my curls like and don’t like and what products are best for them. I’ve recently found out that my hair isn’t a fan of oils especially when using them to seal in moisture. So I’m wonder, are hair butters used as moisturizers or like oils to seal in moisture?
