Ped Egg Review

I usually try to avoid the “As seen on TV” aisle in the store because they always sucker you in. While visiting a Target that I don’t normally frequent, wandered into said area accidentally.

As I was picking up many different wonderful inventions that I obviously can’t live without, I saw one I’d wanted for awhile. The Ped Egg (if you click on the link, there is a video that automatically starts)!

dsc04515My feet are usually in horrible condition and take a lot of punishment. I work 12-13 hour shifts where I am on my feet most of the time and I also am a runner. Thye have been particularly bad lately with pretty bad calluses. Pumice stones are nice for taking the edge off, but they are not the hard core solution that I’ve been looking for.

This Ped Egg really did the trick! It looks like a mini cheese grater of sorts. It also catches all of the sloughed away skin, which is a plus. It’s very easy to clean. You would think you would use it on wet feet, but the directions say to use it on clean dry feet.

My particular one came with emory finishing stickers, no big advantage for me, but still nice. I was a little too eager in one section of my foot and ended up with a sore spot, but nothing bad. My feet, heels especially, haven’t looked this good in years!

dsc04517I got this for $8.99, well worth the money for the results! I think they generally run about 10 bucks though.

Here is a link to a youtube video I found of a news report where the ped egg was put to the test, check it out!

Great review – I meant to ask my mother about this because I saw she had one the last time I was at her house. LOL@As seen on TV sucking you in :o ) – I wonder if you sit and watch QVC and HSN like my grandmother used to do – and now my mother – they say I am catching that ‘ordering’ disease – but I guess either mine isn’t full blown or I’m just broke because I haven’t ordered anything yet :o )

Thanks for the review. I’ve been tempted to try this but kept procrastinating due to no reviews for real people. lol

I’ll definitely give it a try now.

I also try to avoid the as seen on tv aisle. Good to know. I bought the Revlon version (its pink) and I didn’t think it worked that great. I’ll probably get this one. Thanks for the product review!!!!

I have seen this in Walgreens and on tv and always wanted to try it but someone once told me it didn’t work…tsk, tsk. I am going to buy this today!

I liked it the first couple of uses, but after a few uses, I felt like it was actually cutting through my skin. Not an indication of what to expect, I think I might have gotten a little too happy with it and overused it!

I love my ped egg! It’s perfect at smoothing things over when my feet get out of hand.
