Newly Natural- Bre

Hi..My name is Breonna..and I was just writing to tell you I LOVE YOUR BLOG….I live in the U.S.(southern girl) and I have hated perm every since I was old enuff to kno what it was…My mother wouldnt let me stop gettin perms so wen I left for college I took it upon myself to get rid of the dreadful stuff. At first I was skeptical and It is true what others say that u shouldn’t tell 2many ppl only close friends that u’re doin this…becuz the say ure crazy…or why would u do such a thing…even the girl who cut my hair off(she waz natural 2) claimed she hated it and that all the pics on the internet were styled by professionals and one could never get their hair to look like them without professionals..I DID IT AND REGRET NOTHING!! (except letting a barber cut it too low when i simply needed a trim) but anyways here are a couple of my pics!! I wore braids for about 4months and then decided to just cut it.(sorry if this email is 2long!)

But after all..my hair has taught me so much about myself and how I and others view MYSELF…..I never put this much work in with permed hair…now I’m daily conditioning and trying new styles and it can be work but I love every min of it..I glad U and others are educating women about going natural…until next time…THANK YOU&GOD BLESS
