I don’t know if I’m hormonal or what, but this email just made me want to cry and laugh at the same time. Lynnieluve, you are so sweet, thank you! I definitely do not call myself a guru, but it means so much knowing that my little posts help someone out there. Your twists are just adorable, you look fab!
Where do I begin? I love your blog!! I found it through nappturality.com. I follow some other blogs but I can always count on you and curlynikki or should I say, I only try/trust what you all suggest.
Congratulations on completing your triathlon and good luck on your upcoming half marathon.
Okay, so I dont usually response to post, enter contest, send special emails or things like that (mostly lurking going on) but I HAD to send you this email. mmmm..mmm (that’s what I say when I hug my son – 20 months old) and muah -That was a cyber hug and kiss (no homo).
I recently BC (August 8, 2009) and I started to experience my ends being dry and crispy. I thought it was because I BC’ed myself so I was planning to make a trip to the barbershop to get a trim. Well not to long ago you did a post about your routine I believe but you said you do an oil rinse. So I was like hey, I should try that and guess what?!! NO MORE dry crispy ends. I was so happy I didnt have to get a hair cut.
The next thing is, I know you dont always post on the weekend but something told me to check anyway. Well I was planning on doing my twist on Sunday. I read your post on Sunday and thought, maybe I should try that and guess what?!!! NO MORE spaces!! well, because my hair is so short, there are some spaces but not as many (the third picture). I will be doing them this way from now on!
Now that I have probably bored you to death, my main reason for this email is to just say thank you for sharing all of the great info about natural hair and sharing a part of your life with us. I love it when people can be so transparent and share with others because you dont have to do. Anywho, THANK YOU KCURLY and keep up the good work. I’ll be reading!!

Wow, Lynnie, you look fab! You’re yet another example of how well our natural hair suits us. (Love the earrings too…
)
And, yep Kcurly, she hit the nail…I just started reading recently but I do appreciate your candid advice and the positive vibe. Thanks!
KCurly I wasn’t trying to get you all emotional (LOL) but I am glad you were able to feel my thankfulness coming through the email.
And thanks B.
Ms. Lynnieluv, your hair is awesome.
Kcurly has a great blog!
I have to agree, your blog is one of the best and it’s being very helpful. Even though I went natural three years ago, I’ve realized that I wasn’t taking good care of my hair (probably why it hasn’t grown as fast as I was expecting)
