High Intensity Interval Training

I read about this a while ago but didn’t actually try it until a few weeks ago. So far I like it because I feel like I’m getting more of an intense workout than when I drag it out for 30-45 minutes. It’s hard at first though! I haven’t worked up to a complete 20 minutes straight just yet.

I love HIIT…

E.g. tabatas have been a huge part of my workouts for a while now –> Push Ups, Squats, any exercise

I used to run for 1 hour + stretches at a steady pace. A couple of years ago, I tried 1 minutes hard running, 1 minute very light jog for 30 minutes. I couldn’t believe how hard it was.

I always recommend interval training.
