Product Name: Weekly Deep Treatment

Company Name: Jessicurl

Consistency: Thick creamy

Price: 12.75 4 oz

Ingredients: Water infused with Lemongrass, nettle,Burdock,Kelp,Marshmallow Root,Horsetail,Basil,Bay Leaf,Oregano,Rosemary,Peppermint,Sage, and Thyme,Aloe Vera Juice, Behentrimonium Methosulfate and Cetearyl Alcohol, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Glycerin, Lecithin, Fragrance,Propylene Glycol (and) Diazolidinyl Urea (and) Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate (the last three are the preservative system).

Scent: lavender grapefruit (smells more like lavender, pretty light)

Purchase from: Jessicurl, Curlmart (part of the First Aid Kit)

Review:

Ya’ll, how have I allowed myself to sleep on this one? This is one of the best deep conditioners I have ever used. It felt so good going on that I left it on overnight instead of the suggested 30-60 minutes.I got this one in the First Aid Kit from Curlmart. I think I got a sample of this a long time ago but it was such a small amount I used it as a leave in and not as a DC (makes an excellent leave in, btw).

I woke up and my hair was incredibly soft before I washed it out and felt fabulous afterwards! It was easy to detangle after applying it. I enjoy the smell of lavender so I found it refreshing as well. My curl definition was also noticeably more pronounced as I rinsed it out which is always a sign of good moisture.

The thickness of the product did not require me to use a lot so I have a lot left in the jar after one use. I think I might like this better than the Sitrinillah Masque (though don’t worry Hairveda, I am still in love with you!).

Will I buy this again? Yes, definitly!!

Company Name: Jessicurl

Product Name: Awe Inspiraling Spray

Price: $12.75 8 oz

Ingredients: Water, Aloe Vera Glycerin, Jojoba Oil, Magnesium Sulfate, Diazolidinyl Urea (and) Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Fragrance

Consistency: Liquid

Review:

So after trying many “curl refreshers” I’ve come to the conclusion that all of these have the same effect on my hair as water spritzer or any other spritz. There was still frizz, my curls were only somewhat revived, but I did feel that it moisturized my hair.

Which I can get with my own homemade spritz. Which costs a lot less to make.

Since I could care less about frizz, I just sprayed this stuff on my second day puff and headed out the door.

On a good note: It does feel a bit thicker and concentrated than a water spritzer. The ingredients aren’t bad. Maybe this would be a good curl reviver for a finer hair texture.

Will I buy this again? Nope.
