I love your site. I came across it like 2 days ago and betwen you and you tube, you’re a big help. I’m trying to get every bit of research/help I can. I have a 5 yr old daughter and I’m trying to get her hair healthy.
I screwed it up in the past, so I’m redeeming myself. Your site is helpful & great. Thank you!

I was curious about the benefits of corn oil because I was trying to decide whether or not to purchase Carol’s Daughter’s Tui Oil for my three-year-old daughter. My google search led me to your blog, which I am now grateful. It’s difficult trying to decide which products to use on her hair. I thought I needed to spend money on products I thought were high quality – Ojon, Aveda, and so forth; however, I see that using something as simple as shea butter from Target can render the same healthy results. This blog will prove a great resource in caring for my daughter’s as well as mine. I have been natural for 11 years, but never knew how to care for it so I have just been wearing a very close almost bald cut. I’m thinking I may venture out by allowing my hair to grow and try the things you mentioned.

I purchased Khomet Oil by CD because the girl in Sephora told me that the olive oil used in hair products is a better grade than the olive oil purchased in stores. Is that true?
