Cotton Blossom, I will be using the bee mine curly butter for the first time today. Keep an eye out for the review. I haven't ordered KBB in awhile but I would probably still use some kind of leave in under the curly butter.

I LOVE your hair! I follow your blog because it's so hard to find a natural beautiful who has a similar hair texture to mine! So thank you for this blog! Well, I see you use Karen's Body Beautiful Hair Milk in your styling techniques. I mostly wear my hair in two strand twists as a protective style and your two strand min-twists are absolutely beautiful. For twists you state that you use KBB Hair Milk and "any butters/cream." Right now I am using Bee Mine curly butter. What do you think about Bee Mine curly butter vs. KBB for twists?

Hi, KCurly,
I love your site! I have been transitioning for about a year now and notice that I have two hair textures. I am still in the process of trying to find what works. I have tried braid outs, but it makes my hair look funny cause of the dryness. If you have any suggestions please don't hesitate.
Thanks!!

I have not permed my hair since, October 2009... I love my natural hair.. I am quite sure by now all of the perm has "Grown Out" BUT, I too notice different textures to my hair... This is very frustrating.. I am concerned in regards to.. If I should cut DOWN the STRAIGHT HAIR...OR will it eventually change... I too notice that my hair is extremely dry... TRANSITION IS SO... the right word for this process. any comments or suggestions are appreciated... FYI: I have nevver did the BC...

transitioning is a lot of work - I have yet to locate any off the shelf product that works for all of my hair - 3 different grades on 1 head - so I mix and pray - professional shops do not seem to have a clue and since they do not stand to profit from my choice offer very little advice

This list is very helpful(well organized). I have been doing a lot of research on the internet and I have been feeling a little product overload. So thank you for a natural newbie.

Kcurly: Just curious, what is your take on sunscreens for the hair? I spend a lot of time outdoors in the spring/summer and will need something to protect my hair. I was unable to find out anything on other blogs. Thanks!
